V Rising: How To Get Silver Ore - TheGamer

In V Rising, Silver Ore is used to make high-level weapons. Unfortunately, Vampires are allergic to silver, so finding and transporting this ore can be quite a pain. If you are in need of Silver Ore, you've come to the right place.

In this guide, we are going to go over how to get and use Silver Ore. Although both are made from the same material, Silver Ore cannot be crafted into Silver Coins. This is a separate currency that will need to be looted from NPCs. First, let's take a look at the best location to find Silver Ore.

Best Places To Find Silver Ore

The best place to find Silver Ore is at the Sacred Silver Mine. This is a large area located in the northern region of the Silverlight Hills, shown on the map above.

There are no V Blood Carriers or bosses in this area; instead, you will come across several high-leveled enemies that are capable of dealing Holy Radiation damage.

We highly recommend having a gear level above 60 prior to exploring this area. Additionally, be sure to bring plenty of potions, especially if you want to increase your damage.

Transporting Silver Ore

While holding Silver Ore, you will get the 'Silver Sickness' debuff, and a message will appear on your screen telling you that you are currently carrying Silver. Depending on the amount of silver that you are carrying, you will slowly lose HP.

This is unavoidable, but you can lessen the effects of this debuff with potions. When you gather Silver Ore, be sure to bring a Silver Resistance Potion or Brew with you. These will decrease the amount of damage you take, lasting for 20 minutes. This is plenty of time to head to the Mines, gather the ore, and make it home.

Crafting With Silver Ore

Silver Ore is used to craft Dark Silver Ingots. This is an item that can be made in the Furnace with the following materials.

• 1x Scourgestone
• 20x Silver Ore

Scourgestone can be looted from Skeleton Bishops and Scarecrows, as well as found in the following locations.

• Dunley Farmlands
  • Dunley Monastery
  • Church of the Damned
• Cursed Forest
  • East and West Ancient Village

You can also craft Scourgestone with the materials listed below.

• 1x Whetstone
• 3x Glass
• 3x Grave Dust

With Dark Silver Ingots, you will now be able to make the Dark Silver weapon set, as well as upgrade your castle. Unlike Silver Ingots, Dark Silver will not give you Silver Sickness, so you don't have to worry about making additional potions in order to hold your Dark Silver weapon of choice.
