High Speed Two, also known as HS2, is a new high speed rail line connecting London to Birmingham. Originally the line was going to Crewe, Manchester, Nottingham and Derby but these plans were scrapped due to costs by the Conservative Government in 2023. It will include a new station in Birmingham city centre, called Curzon Street, and another new station near Birmingham Airport in Solihull, called Birmingham Interchange.
