When calling HSN for questions or support, I found reaching a customer service representative to be a quick and easy process. Most customers call their support line for assistance with orders, accounts or payments. Since I've never purchased from HSN, I wanted to learn more about their deals and payment plans. 

An automated system informs callers they can either press 1 to continue using the keypad for selections or press 2 to speak their responses. Pressing the start (*) key allows callers to return to the main menu at anytime. I opted to use the keypad and was directed to a menu of choices ranging from order information, returns, auto shipping, flex pay and item availability. I was also given the option to press 0 to speak with a customer service agent. 

After choosing to speak with a customer service rep, I was asked to enter in my phone number or account number for faster service. Since I had  no prior account with HSN, I entered in my phone number and waited on hold. A rep came on the line following a few minutes of hold music. She introduced herself and asked for my account or phone number. Sharing that I was a new customer with no account information, I told her I was calling to learn more about deals, specials and payment plans. 

The rep explained that I could visit their website or watch their TV channel to find out which specials are available each day, adding that these change regularly. The website includes an 'On-Air Today' link that she suggested I click on to see the promotions. She also said I could search for a specific item of interest to see if may be included. 

As far as payment plans, she told me that HSN offers a program called Flex Pay that allows shoppers to pay for purchases over time with no interest. You would receive your item as soon as it ships and set up 3-5 installments to pay for your purchase. I asked if Flex Pay was limited to certain products and said no, adding that I could use Flex Pay on every item I wanted. There are only some exclusions to Flex Pay, mostly on higher-end products such as cell phones, jewelry, gaming devices and computers. However, other financing could be available for these items. 

This sounded like a great deal so I asked what she recommenced next. The rep suggested I first create an HSN account online so I could add payment information and begin shopping. While in checkout, I would choose Flex Pay on my items and begin the process to selecting a feasible payment plan. Without needing anymore help, I thanked the rep for her timely and friendly assistance and ended the call. With such great customer service and speedy access to help, HSN made my time on the phone productive and pleasant.
