i5-3470
- The i5-3470 has higher Level 3 Cache. This is useful when you have substantial multiprocessing workloads, many computationally intense simultaneous processes. More likely on a server, less on a personally used computer for interactive desktop workloads.
- The i5-3470 has more cores. The benefit of having more cores is that the system can handle more threads. Each core can handle a separate stream of data. This architecture greatly increases the performance of a system that is running concurrent applications.
- The i5-3470 has a higher turbo clock boost. Turbo Boost is a CPU feature that will run CPU clock speed faster than its base clock, if certain conditions are present. It will enable older software that runs on fewer cores, to perform better on newer hardware. Since games are software too, it is also applicable to them.
Pentium G4600
- For some games, a cpu with a higher clock speed, or in a technical name IPC (Instructions per clock), has better results than other CPU's with higher core count and lower core speed.
- The Pentium G4600 is more power efficient and generates less heat.
- The Pentium G4600 has a smaller process size. The faster a transistor can toggle on and off, the faster it can do work. And transistors that turn on and off with less energy are more efficient, reducing the operating power, or “dynamic power consumption,” required by a processor.

What to Consider Before Buying a Graphics Card
If you have been planning to upgrade your system by purchasing a new graphics card. Then there are some important factors to consider.
Resolution VS Quality: Impact on Game Performance
What affects game performance? Clarity or Details?
Ultra VS High Quality Settings in PC Games
Every player has a different notion about the ideal setting for PC games. But in most cases, opting for a High quality graphics configuration is the way to go.
What are CPU or GPU Bottlenecks?
Are you getting sudden frame drops? you might have a bottleneck.
What is the acceptable FPS speed for me?
For some games, you can still enjoy great garphics at lower frame rates.

Comment Z zebraaudio 7 years ago i5 3470 to i7 3770k upgradeHello guys, will i see any significant boost of performance after this upgrade?Hello guys,Will i see any significant boost after this upgrade? I mostly playing cs go semi pro so im just looking for stable 300+ fps.GIGABYTE B75M-D2V (LGA 1155)I5 3470 Nvidia Gtx 7608gig DDR3.1tb HDDWindows 724" 1080p/144hz monitorIf i won't, what other CPU do you recommend? Thanks for further info Edit: monitor 1080p 0 0 C cocoillegal 7 years ago Very likely. Easy to check, fire up some monitoring tools that will show you CPU usage and FPS in game. You should see a correlation.250 FPS is likely when no other players are on the screen, or when looking at very simple areas of the map. You would want to target when they are and when you can see lots of the map. 0 0 B blinksinternal 11 years ago i5 3470 vs a8-6600kLooking to trade with a friend who has i5-3470 with intel DH61BF motherboard to my A8-6600k with GIGABYTE GA-F2A58M motherboard.i know the i5 is faster but will the motherboard bottleneck it because it only supports up to 1333 mhz ram and i have with me 1866mhz dual channel rams.will my a8-6600k with 1866 mhz ram be faster or at least on par with the i5 3470 with 1333 mhz ram?if ever i resort into overclocking how much will i add to my processor frequency to match the i5 3470 at 1333mhz ram?or should i just go with the trade?thanks 0 0 I immatureminds 11 years ago The difference in RAM speed is negligible and probably wouldn't even be noticed by you. Of course, you don't say how much of each type of RAM is at issue either. And, all DDR3 RAM is dual channel if used in the proper configuration for dual channel operation. Do you have a graphics card or are you using the iGPU feature of the CPUs? In almost any case the i5 is going to be faster but it largely depends on whether a GPU card is being used or not. 0 0 S subduedicecream 9 years ago PRODUCT # D8C46UT#ABA(B3G70AV) core i5 3470Product Name: HP Pro 3500 - Core i5 3470 3.2Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)HP Pro 3500 - Core i5 3470 3.2 GHz - MT 6 MB Cache I need bios bin file as bios is crashed during using IFlash utility and electricity went offPRODUCT # D8C46UT#ABA(B3G70AV)Mod edit. You could also consult with the computer's User Manual on what do to or get in touch directly with the customer support.Other than that, I'd strongly recommend that you remove the serial numbers you've posted, as a security measure. You should do the same with your e-mail address as well.Hope that helps.Boogieman_WD 0 0 U underpassaffected 8 years ago Intel Core i5 3470S vs i5 3470Hi,I have purchased the Intel Core (i5 3470S 2.90Ghz to 3.6Ghz with Turbo Boost with Motherboard and M-Atx case) worth 110 US Dollars, i was to get 3470 3.2ghz but due to unavailability i had to get 3470S, the prices of the Motherboard and Case are included with the CPU, what is the performance difference between these two processors? So did i get a good System worth the money for gaming or not?and which affordable GPU would give me the better performance with this setup. 0 0 N noggsboom 8 years ago 3470 is the standard version. 3470S is the low-power version. Max Turbo is identical, but that's with only 1 core in use; as the 2nd, 3rd & 4th cores come into play, the 3470S has slightly lower Turbo ceilings. In terms of real-world performance, you probably won't see a whole lot of difference -- stock speeds are very close (3.2GHz for the 3470 vs. 2.9GHz for the 3470S), as are the Turbos for all 4 cores (3.4 GHz vs. 3.2GHz). 0 0 A astonishedtanning 8 years ago Is my I5 3470 causing performance issues?I have some stuttering in a few games and general low performance in my system.I used to have a system with a 970 mini, but upgraded this with a 1080 mini from zotac. I have always had 16gb DDr3 ram and an intel I5-3470. I noticed the stuttering a while ago expecting it to be an issue with the 970, but I wanted to upgrade this anyway and brought the 1080 but the issues are still there.I have noticed these issues mainly in these 3 games for examples, but they do apply to other games I play.-Black ops 3 has an issue where the cpu is at 100% and the gpu at around 50% and the game will freeze for a second with the audio still playing. If it's relevant this is in multiplayer online, offline vs bots and zombies-Fallout 4 has various drops in framerate when things get hectic, but in some areas the cpu is at 100% and the gpu is only at 12% and the framerate is in the 10's. This is the case with vanilla and heavily modded-Ghost recon wildlands is the same as fallout 4 but the cpu is ALWAYS in the late 90's and 100% meaning hectic areas cause frame drops as well as the freezing issue I find in BO3The reason I ask is that everywhere I look I get very different opinions as to how to solve this. I have heard one where getting a "game booster" helps but for me it only reduced the issue a little, and another where you disable dynamic tick, but this only fixed my issue for a little while before it came back in an hour. The final thing I hear is that changing the resolution so the graphics card works harder will make the issues go away, and I notice a difference on BO3, but the gpu can be at 10% or at 90% and the cpu will still be very very high and the issues do not go, but reduce in frequencyI have also formatted all my hard drives and replaced one with SSD so the system has had a clean instal of everything. Is this a case of something I have not tested? Or is this the case I need to bite the bullet and buy a new cpu, ram and mobo bundle? I also can not OC my cpu due to motherboard limitations as at the time I brought them, overclocking wasn't as well supported as it is now and it isn't a "gaming" motherboardThanks in advance for any help 0 0 R reiteratewade 8 years ago Download OCCT and run the stress test and monitor your temps. Make sure you have no virus. You Video card will only run the % it needs to for processing the information it's getting. You might be able to find a cheap used 3770 that would help some or consider putting the 970 back in, remove the SSD, do a fresh OS install on the HDD and selling it and reuse your SSD and the 1080 in a new build. 0 0Từ khóa » G4600 Vs I5 3470
