Infiniti got too many complaints about the G35 having too much power and just being uncontrollable and impossible to drive. So they put a bigger engine with less power to slow it down so an average man can handle the raw power. Does anyone remember if the gearing is shorter for the G37? I think it might be something like 3.7 FD but don't quote me on that where the G35 was 3.5 FD and the G35 auto was 3.3FD. I wouldn't say far faster but but it was enough for me to notice the difference. Crazy! A family car that will smoke most muscle cars!
