The G35 was unveiled in 2001 and first released in 2003. Its impact was immediate. Motor Trend[[2327]] named it the Car of the Year, and Car and Driver[[2522]] had it on its 10 Best list. It was built on a Front Midship platform, with its engine positioned further back in the engine bay for a more even weight distribution.

Designed to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the INFINITI marque, ESSENCE was an exploration of the future of INFINITI performance and style. A revolutionary 592 horsepower gas/hybrid engine gave it supercar power, a custom-made Louis Vuitton luggage set highlighted the interior, and a daring exterior design set the course for the signature style we see in every INFINITI produced today.

The Q60 Concept debuted at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show and turned every head in the building. Rarely do the most radical elements of a concept car make it to the production model, but they did with the Q60 Concept. We just dropped the word “Concept” and went ahead and built it.
