Khe Sanh Cox, SA Woman With Name Referencing Cold Chisel Song ...

You can find Khe Sanh in just about every pub in the country, unfortunately for SA Police finding Khe Sanh Cox is proving to be a bit harder.

The South Australian woman, whose name appears to reference a classic Cold Chisel song is wanted by police for a number of “serious offences”.

Their Facebook post pleading for information returned more than 25,000 comments - a large majority hilarious Cold Chisel references.

The 28 year old has also allegedly breached her bail after she removed a home detention bracelet this month.

Police are calling for assistance from the public to locate her.

She is described 157cm tall with a heavy build, black hair and blue eyes.

Khe Sanh is also the name of a hit song by Cold Chisel, released in 1978, about a Vietnam War veteran.

“She is no Choir Girl,” police said in a tongue-in-cheek tweet about Cox, referencing other songs by the legendary Australian band.

“We’ve already searched Bow River and the Star Hotel.”

A number of social media comments made light of the unusual name by referencing the lyrics of the song, with numerous references to her being on the “last plane out of Sydney”.

Another person said she could be “hitting some Hong Kong mattress all night long”.

It was also suggested she could be trying to “find a place to settle down”.
