Mr.Polska, 01 Dec 2020Funny how you didn't mention Snapdragon (600) and Exynos (5410) have done the exact same ... morebecause exynos was already mentioned, samsung and huawei have already confirmed that they cheated to keep up the score with snapdragon in benchmark, and mediatek proudly with the result they even boast their low end P95 chipset having the same score as SD855

A series chips beating SD on geek bench made Geekbench unreliable, you guys claimed Antutu was the best, now MTK beats SD865 on Antutu, suddenly Antutu is unreliable, the hypocrisy 😂😂 Android fanboys are a complete joke to me

UnTuTu is no longer a valid benchmark app. Lets just ignore it from now on. Just like sysmark benchmarks are invalid to benchmark x86 CPU's.

Sorry but AnTuTu is deleted from the Playstore for a reason. And Mediatek cheated with this benchmark before. So totally irrelevant news item this is...

While the graphs supports the headline well, we can infer that MTK isn't even competing on high-end since they left-out the X1 in favor of Prime core AKA OC'd A78. Yes they caught-up with 865 but it isn't even the best option from Snap's 2020 SoC, 865+ exist but wasn't included. This is the last month of 2020 and as we all know, SD875 with the X1 will be released next year and with that MTK would still be left behind until they catch-up again.

MrHong, 30 Nov 2020Of course....Mediatek has cheated in Antutu early this year 😃The only think Mediatek did is force some benchmarks to use properly CPU cores! When a so called benchmark (PCMark) didn't use big cores and wasn't updated since 2017, the problem isn't Mediatek. And when journalist refused to verify this fact there's an other one... He will probable get his free SD875 prototype for testing!

Companies plan years behorehand, it is also why Intel is still very much in most pre built desktop machines even though AMD chips are currently better. Dont be a fanboy, and learn about business instead of looking like a tool trying to diss competition that has vastly improved.

This is not surprising. Dimensity chipsets are indeed the most powerful and once launched it will take the markets by a storm in terms of the performance, efficiency as well as the price value.
