Any value on one side of the center point is one mode and anything on the other side of the center point changes to the other mode. The exact value you use doesn't matter, and changing it to any other value that is still on that same side of the center point makes no difference in the flight characteristics. |

Whats thedifference to theregular | I found the K110S in a couple of places, but there are no pictures under the canopy. It's still a 1S with a brushless tail but a new canopy that looks a lot like the old red V922 canopy. I read thru the ad details and all I saw was nonsensical Chinglish phrases like: "Without aileron design, the blades are designed with aerodynamic principles..." If I were to make a wild guess, I would guess it would be like the old K110 (technically the K110B I think) but the 6G mode would be even more restrictive. I'm basing that solely on the fact that when the V911 was replaced with the V911S it was designed with an extremely limiting 6G mode, intended for true beginners and frustrating for everybody else. I'm guessing that the "S" might stand for stable, but that would make some sense which is uncommon in Chinese naming conventions. Wasn't the K110 originally called the "Blash" and the K100 was called the "Falcom", obviously they meant Blast and Falcon, but hey, why spell check before you print the first 10,000 boxes. They obviously don't pay much attention to details like names. Other possibilities are that it might have a true rescue mode or headless mode, but I think that's not likely since it still ships with the same transmitter and it doesn't add a new switch to one of the two available unused switch holes. If anybody want's to do any research, maybe shoot and email to MotionRC's customer service department. Wouldnt that be a great market to hsell a dual brushless 1s heli…tirect drive i would buy 10 maybee to much focus on the drone market which is just bigger! Sometimes im a bit jelaous…drones are mechanicly so simple and tons of electronics available but helis are cooler |

I've owned just about every quad you can think of, but I always have a soft spot in my heart for micro helis. Anyway, I have a K100 and thus own a XK X6 transmitter. I'm hoping that the new K110S comes with a tamed down 6G mode for us primarily indoor fliers. The best and most stable indoor flier I have to date is the Eachine E119 with the Futaba satellite receiver so that I can us my XK X6. Smooth as silk cruising around inside with this combo. I do see that they will offer a BNF version which gets my attention for now. |

BirdBarber Hummingbird Assassin | @CCbusa05 You can mechanically tame down the K100 or K110 by placing the swash to blade grip links on the 2 shorter swash arms and/or moving the servo to swash links to the inner holes on the servo arm. The XK FBL software seems to handle any setup without issue. It's may not suit you as much as a tamer 6G mode, but it might help some. |

I'm not a fan of 6g modes but I have tested both of the Rotorflight 6g modes and they work great. The modes are: Horizon mode. In this mode the heli is self stabilised and will level when the sticks are released. You can still fly limited aerobatics. The second is Angle mode. In this mode the heli is locked below a configures max angle (say 30 degrees). The K110 is extremely stable with this controller and flies more like an M1. In 6g mode it is very similar to a drone. A description of the process can be found on this thread. Please note this is for Heliflight. Rotorflight is the current version of this software and follows the same process. Guides for each board are in the files section. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...73&postcount=1. Details of Rotorflight can be found at the wiki. https://github.com/rotorflight/rotor...0-with-Play-F4 There is also a discord discussion group where you can ask questions and get guidance. https://discord.gg/FyfMF4RwSA |
