This standard covers widely the used U-1000 R2V cables and their aluminium equivalents AR2V cables -industrial unarmoured cable used in low voltage applications including remote control and telecontrol installations. 

NF C32 321 Cable Construction

The cables are constructed with XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) insulation covering either Copper or Aluminium conductors, and a robust PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) sheathing to protect from outside elements. It makes these power distribution cables suitable for internal and external use.
