Roderic_Cliche Member Offline Online Status: Jul 2006Join Date: 10,269Posts: 0 (0%)iTrader: | "Normal" Shield vs. "Striped" Shield 2022 Regarding the few game effects that, in the past, were considered to reference the "normal" shield or the "striped" shield individually (examples: Shellhead vs. Newer Fantastic Four ATA), given the retirement of Indomitable as a thing and the application of the "striped" shield as the standard combat symbol, are the original "normal" shields considered to have been replaced, or are they still there and there is no functional difference between the two icons (apart from things like Shellhead or Newer Fantastic Four that look for a specific icon on their respective cards)? Thanks for thinking this one through. I had a player bring this up yesterday or so. |

JoeGualtieri Member Offline Online Status: Nov 2007Join Date: 6,830Posts: 16 (100%)iTrader: | To further clarify what Gensan wrote, "Batman Ally team ability" is printed on the actual card, and it was specifically ruled that the Batman Ally team symbol found on the bases of figures from The Dark Knight Rises set would not work for "Familiar Controls" despite the team ability being functionally the same. So Shellhead isn't going to work on any new figures. |
