perrya P so, the P0 2195 code came on , o2 sensor, I presume. Replaced the sensor and turned off the MIL. Thought it was fixed, after a day of driving, the MIL comes on, check the code-same code??! So, now what? if the 02 sensor is new, why the same code again? will it effect MPG or anything relating to performance? How do I fix this? #1 · Feb 16, 2013 so, the P0 2195 code came on , o2 sensor, I presume. Replaced the sensor and turned off the MIL. EOBD II Error Code: P2195 Fault Location: Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 1, Bank 1/Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1 (G39), Bank 1 - Signal Stuck Lean Possible Cause: Oxygen sensor (O2S). Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) (G39). Fuel pressure. Injectors. Intake leak. As taken from my http://www.myturbodiesel.com/forum/f9/free-eobd-ii-error-codes-software-2919/ #3 · Feb 16, 2013 perhaps wiring? o2 sensor regulates EGR system, car should correct somewhat, I am not sure how much or how much it will affect mpg. Shouldn't by much. #4 · Feb 16, 2013 What does a failed\inoperative heated 02 sensor mean? Is this the same new 02 sensor replaced, another one? Bank 1 G39- what is this? I did turn off the MIL but it came back on after driving a bit-same code. Is this just a connection issue with the wiring or how the sensor was replaced? The sensor has to do with exhaust and emissions, correct? so, it is a minor MIL problem, correct? or, it this a must fix ASAP? #5 · Feb 16, 2013

Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) before Three Way Catalitic Convertor (TWC) checking #6 · Feb 16, 2013 This is interesting. The MIL came on when only a fourth tank of fuel remained. The code discussed came on. SO, I go to add fuel to 3\4 tank, add some additives from powertrain, drive around and the MIL goes off. So, can I assume the trigger is being low on fuel at a quarter of a tank? #7 · Feb 17, 2013 (Edited by Moderator) Update- the MIL came back on-same code- aggravating. Also have a new one P0132, high voltage at O2 sensor. The car runs fine but bucks on occasion. I guess due to the lean state? Since this is beyond my expertise, should I just let VW fix this or can most Master mechanics repair the issue? The O2 sensor was replaced, which may be a waste of money at this point. I usually go to a non-VW mechanic who is one at Nissan and does great work. He does work on german cars. if it were due to low fuel pressure, injector issues or intake\exhaust leak, would there be other MIL codes to indicate this??? Insert Quotes Post Reply
