Explanation:
Qn Normal flow (Nl/min). Measured with upstream pressure 6 bar and the pressure drop 1 bar over the valve.
C The C-value (l/(s*bar)). Flow sonic conductanceRatio of volume flow Q and input pressure p1abs for choked flow C=Q/p1abs
b Critical pressure ratioRatio of output pressure p2abs and input pressure p1abs which marks the transition from choked flow (sonic velocity in narrowest section) to subsonic flow
kv The kv-value. Measured with water at a pressure drop 1 bar over the valve.
Kv The Kv-value. As above but expressed in m3/hr.
Cv The Cv-value (US gallons/min). Measured with water at a pressure drop 1 psi (0.07 bar) over the valve.
