✧ Chongyun x Reader x Xingqiu Poly Relationship HCs ✧

✧Before you started dating✧

• Xingqiu and Chongyun clearly liked you. Everyone knew INCLUDING YOU. But there was a small problem… you liked them both and you didn’t want to choose. How could you? They were both amazing in their own ways and you knew you couldn’t be happy choosing just one.
• So, you decided to just… keep things neutral. And it worked… for a minute.
• You started noticing the small sparks of jealousy in the beginning. Xingqiu would become pouty when you’d mention you had plans with Chongyun, and the other would become quiet.
• You did your best to split your time between them equally, but it became harder and harder with the growing feelings.
• Eventually, it caused a small fight between Chongyun and Xingqiu. They were such amazing friends and you hated seeing this. So one day, you forced them to meet you by your favorite tree. You had to lie and they weren’t happy when they spotted each other.

“What are we doing here, (y/n)?” Xingqiu asked, not even looking at Chongyun. Chongyun had even taken steps to move away from Xingqiu and it made you frown. This was exactly the reason you’d been so restless the last two weeks. You’d come up with a plan to fix all of this hostility but you weren’t sure if anyone would be happy with it. But the end result was what mattered, right? That’s what you were aiming for. You’d destroyed his beautiful friendship and you were going to fix it.

“I think… we should stop being friends.” Your voice was shaky as the emotions you’d held in for the last couple of weeks came pouring out. You swore you wouldn’t cry, so you forced yourself to be strong and look them in the eyes. However, when you saw their faces, your heart broke. You could see how badly your words shook the two boys.

“Wh-what?” They asked with a broken whimper. You hated having to repeat your words once more, but you refused to go back. You took a deep breath allowing your nerves to settle a little.

“We should stop being friends. You two were the best of friends before I came along and now you’re like this. As much as I do care for and love you both, this can’t continue. I won’t be responsible for this.”

“B-but w-we,” Xingqiu’s voice fell silent as he stared at you with fear in his eyes.

“Do-don’t leave us!” Chongyun said, wanting to approach you but too scared you’d runoff. You shook your head and spoke in a rueful tone.

“I hope you’ll forgive me. Goodbye.” As you turned to leave, Xingqiu finally spoke up, in a desperate attempt to make you stop.

“WHAT IF YOU DATED BOTH OF US!” You turned around and looked at him with shock.

“What?”

✧After you started dating✧

• It took some time but you three were able to finally work out what Xingqiu was trying to say. It was a bumpy start, all three of you were new to this. Not only a polyamorous relationship but a relationship in general.
• Xingqiu and Chongyun were a little different when it came to relationships. Nothing crazy, but it was the little things.
• For example, Xingqiu doesn’t mind PDA. He won’t full-on make out with you in public, but he isn’t afraid to hug you, wrap his arm around you, or even just flirt in public.
• Chongyun is the opposite. He’s not a fan of PDA, so he’ll stick to holding your hand or just walking closer to you. The entire world doesn’t need to know you’re dating.
• Dates are also a little different. Xingqiu likes to stay in and read. His ideal date with you would either be indoors or out at a park or something, reading. Either you read to him, he reads to you, both of you read the same book together; all work just fine.
• Chongyun likes to go ghost hunting! He does understand it’s not the ideal date and has tried offering the ice cream parlor. Although you like the ice cream parlor, knowing that Chongyun has more fun hunting ghosts is enough for you.
• Dates with all three of you usually consist of going to a picnic or something. An event that all of you can kind of enjoy. Adventuring is also an option but it’s very exhausting.
• Cuddle dates are a thing. It’s basically a requirement, really. Xingqiu loves being the big spoon while Chongyun prefers the little spoon. Usually, your place is between them, however, there are days where either of them needs some extra love.
• It’s rare for you guys to sleep in, mainly because Chongyun wakes you up. Unless you three went on some crazy adventure the day before, you and Xingqiu are woken up early by Chongyun.

“Wake up.” You and Xingqiu groaned as you cuddled closer, completely ignoring Chongyun’s words. He placed his hands on his hips before walking to the window and throwing the curtains open. Both you and Xingqiu yelled before burying yourselves under the blanket. “GET UP!” Xingqiu poked his head out and slightly glared at Chongyun.

“Sleeping in is a blessing.”

“Sleeping in is being lazy. Get up. I’ve already made breakfast.” You propped yourself up on your elbows as you looked towards the light blue-haired boy.

“Come on, Chongyun. Come lay with us. Just a few minutes.” Chongyun knew that was a trap.

“Absolutely not. Now get up. We all have work today.” This elicited another groan from you and Xingqiu as you fell back on the bed.

“You’re no fun, Chongyun,” Xingqiu mumbled as the other came to tug him out of bed. You and Xingqiu shared a brief look before abruptly grabbing the cryo user’s arm and tugging him into bed with you.

“H-HEY!” Both you and Xingqiu immediately piled on him, laying your heads on his shoulders and pulling the blanket up to cover all of you. Chongyun could only fight his urges for a few moments before he ultimately melted into you.

Safe to say, none of you moved until noon. Yes, you did have to make it up to Chongyun because he was VERY late meeting up an important client.
