TROUBLE IN RUNNING
ACE WAR (J509) approaching the 600M was steadied when crowded - Race 276. VOLCANIC SPARK (H388) taken wider after the 350M - Race 175. MATSU VICTOR (H472) jumped only fairly - Race 207. BEAUTY ALLIANCE (J260) held up from the 400M until the 250M - Race 263. FLYING LUCK (J339) for some distance leaving the 1100M was restrained from heels. From the 450M to the 150M was badly held up for clear running - Race 263. INTREPID WINNER (G144) whilst being saddled fell over and took some time to regain its feet. Acting on vet advice that the horse was not suitable to race, was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 134. SMILING COLLECTOR (G128) after the 1200M commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied and continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter. Near the 900M raced tight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 264. HEALTHY GOLF (J424) jumped awkwardly and then shortly after was steadied. After the event, rider reported that soon after the 300M his mount hung in and as a result made contact with a runner - Race 254. HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508) shifted in at the start and was bumped. Between the 300M and the 200M had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind a runner. After being shifted to inside approaching the 150M again had difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages when racing tight - Race 263. ONLY U (J037) jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Near the 500M was steadied when crowded. After the event, rider reported that his mount hung out and in the Home Straight did not respond to his riding. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 170. EN PERFECTO (J409) shifted out on jumping and was bumped - Race 255. FIGHT TIME (H409) shortly after the start was eased when placed in restricted room. Held up for clear running making the Home Turn. Approaching the 400M was again held up for clear running behind a runner and near the 250M was shifted to that runner's inside to secure clear running. Approaching the 150M was disappointed before being shifted out shortly after to secure clear running - Race 241. TRADITION (J111) on jumping was crowded - Race 291.
