Title Description G303 (left) used for two years. G305 (right) just arrived to replace it. The G305 is about the same weight with a lithium AA inside and is smoother to move around due to lack of a cable. The G303 is more top heavy while the G305 is back heavy (because of the battery). You can get the G305 to be lighter than the G303 with a AAA lithium battery + plastic converter. This would also make it less back heavy as well as making it lighter than a G303. Removing the back cover would lower the weight even less. Pretty much the same latency on both. The slight bulge on the sides isn't as bad as expected. Build quality looks solid as expected from a reputable company. 400 dpi is working great on 1440p with the new mouse. Able to track well from 45-57 cm/360. Overall I would highly recommend this mouse to fingertip / claw grip gamers and those who like their mice small and lightweight. I've gone from the CM Storm Spawn to the G303 and now to the G305 and it's my favorite mouse yet. I switched to my backup g305 several months ago and it should hopefully last me another 3 years. Not sure if I want to get another g305 as I'm hopeful there should be better options by then. Mango [author] 3 Jun, 2021 @ 9:11am The g305 is close enough to the g303 in shape and the wireless is a huge game changer. I was always a skeptic of wireless before, but it's the same latency as wired with no cable drag. Can't imagine going back to wired mice now. I even bought a replacement g305 in case the current one dies. The wireless g303 does sound nice in case my g305s die, but this one's over 3 years old and still going strong. eakmadashma 3 Jun, 2021 @ 6:09am thanks for the comparison pic, just got an razer orochi today to possibly replace my 305 but i might send it back and just wait for the wireless 303 whenever shroud or logitech decides to officially announce it cause we already have pics and videos showing it exists. I'm approaching 2 years with the G305 soon and I would never go back to wired mice after using it. The batteries last me about 3 months on average with the maximum performance mode @1000hz and anywhere from 30-60 hours a week of usage. The battery model used is the Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA. For someone who mostly uses the two buttons and wants a small mouse, this fits the bill perfectly. Elon John 8 Mar, 2020 @ 10:14am Found this randomly on Google. Thanks for the short review. I'm always claw grip and the 303 was perfect for me. Bought the 305 and hadn't unboxed it because I was wary. See your review and gave it a chance and I love it.
