The Shimano XT 11-speed Chainring for the FC-M8000-3 crank

This Shimano chainring is designed for the XT FC-M8000-3 11-speed crank in the 22-30-40 gradation. It has a bolt circle diameter of 64 or 96 mm and is asymmetrical in design. The 22-tooth version is made of aluminium, the other two chainrings are made of composite material.

Note to Type Designation:

The type designation (one or two characters) helps identify the compatibility of various chainrings with other chainrings. Because the larger chainrings have specially-formed teeth and upward shifting assistance, only particular smaller chainrings will match to ensure proper shifting performance. An XY chainring should only be combined with another XY chainring. This applies to all other types as well.
