I have been looking but can't seem to find a way to wire it up so the bridge pickup has a tone control...........I'd like to add the bridge pickup to the 2nd tone control..............I am kind of worried to try this as that humbucker is split (i thnk)in the 4th position and I don't want to mess this up.....thanks for any help-if I can tame that high end on the bridge this guitar is a winnerDenisS

For instance, I used a super switch on my HSS strat and made the following happen: *One volume works all. *The lower tone control works on the bridge pickup when it is in humbucker mode (position 1). *All single coils positions (2 thru 5) use the upper tone control. *The Trembucker is automatically split in position 2. Looks stock - the super switch takes care of everything. It's a Highway One with good pickups from GFS and Duncan, along with greasebucket tone circuits. My Duncan SH6 splits very nicely. Very happy with it all. There are other ways to do it with less, more, or other options.

Just follow the wires. Next to the lug on the switch where the middle pickup tone goes there is an unused lug. If you add a short bit of wire between those lugs they will now share that back tone control. Oops, I re-read your OP, this may not be a standard two row switch. So you may have to look more closely to find just where to jumper the lugs on the switch to add the tone control. The good news is that it is there, you'll just have to find it. It may still be just as simple as my initial description or a bit more complex, I don't have experience with that particular switch. But it is there. and possible.user34603

All by a small jumper for the bridge pickup tone from the neck pickup tone tabuser34603

Some older switches appear to have 3 connections on each side and a single connection in the middle of the switch. So wiring a bridge pickup for tone control may take a luthier to figure put for you.codamedia
