Every third start of the engine after clearing the error throws up the Short to GND error. Below is the VCDS Print. How about qualifying the circuit tracks with DVOM and decade box back to ECU to verify you can extinguish or change the state of the DTC? The entire JPPSG.......... https://forums.ross-tech.com/showth...essional-Problem-Solver-Guide-quot-JPPSG-quot Jan 31, 2020 #5 F

Got wiring diagrams for this vehicle? The first thing to do with a "Short to GND" code is look for a missing voltage supply at the sensor or actuator that's flagged in the fault. -Uwe- Jan 31, 2020 #7 F

With the earth probe on 2 and positive on 1 there is no reading. With the earth probe on 2 and the positive on 3 it reads just over 5 volts. I did read somewhere that 5 volts was correct but i dont know what pin 1 should read. Jan 31, 2020 #8 M

I have the same issue after replacing the sensor, wondering if you found something in software before I start in about the wiring? Oct 24, 2022 #11 4x4rob
