northpole If you are looking for the options that were installed from the factory to your VW you need to look in the owners handbook there should be a sticker on the first page that has 3 character codes (these are smaller print ones on said sticker) you'll find another one in the sparewheel well... copy them and paste them on this website it will decode them to tell you what options are fitted from the factory to your VW... but if for some reason you can't find either of them no fear, copy your vin number and type it in on this website (it only works back to 1993 so if your VW is older it won't work)... copy all the codes that pop up and paste them on this website it will decode them to tell you what options are fitted from the factory to your VW. this way you know exactly what options were installed when your car, or a car you are looking at, left the factory. #1 · Nov 6, 2018 If you are looking for the options that were installed from the factory to your VW you need to look in the owners handbook there should be a sticker on the first page that has 3 character codes (these are smaller print ones on said sticker) you'll find another one in the sparewheel well... copy them and paste them on this website it will decode them to tell you what options are fitted from the factory to your VW... but if for some reason you can't find either of them no fear, copy your vin number and type it in on this website (it only works back to 1993 so if your VW is older it won't work)... copy all the codes that pop up and paste them on this website it will decode them to tell you what options are fitted from the factory to your VW. this way you know exactly what options were installed when your car, or a car you are looking at, left the factory. Unfortunately it just shows every available option for mine. If it's possible boot sticker or service book sticker is the way to go, as it lists the exact spec of the car. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk #4 · Nov 7, 2018 (Edited by Moderator) I'll have to have a look at why it did that could've been a little problem with your connection (to long a time out so it just showed every option available) but i checked it myself and it worked properly using the vin of my old mk4... Might i suggest you try it again... and yes this is only a work around when the stickers can't be read or found... some cars don't even have the original owners handbook anymore and with age, the boot sticker just gets harder to read and if there ever was a water leak they are usually destroyed.
