I'm looking at the Asus Gaming X570-Plus motherboard and the Ryzen 9 5950X CPU... and am quite frustrated by the poor documentation of the motherboard.
So the CPU has 24 lanes - 4 to the chipset, 16 to a PCIe device (presumably the GPU), and 4 to another PCIe device.
But the motherboard has four PCIe ports (x16, x4, x1, x1) and two M.2 ports (both x4).
Clearly some of these come off the PCH.
But which ones?
I would appreciate any insight anybody could provide - and also what sources actually told you which ones came off the chipset and which ones came directly from the CPU.

Top M.2 slot, not just any PCIe device.
The non x16 PCIe slot and lower M.2 slot are connected to the chipset.
