The Anime about a super overpowered boy who is strong since the day he was born, but due to his strength he is restricted by a Seal that holds his emotion. The Manhwa is Amazing, the Anime is wonderful and I liked the OST "especially the main character theme song which was mentioned by the first villain. the animation is smooth unlike most of the Japanese anime ... "more accurately the motion pictures" and if you cannot distinguish the Japanese Language you would mistake it for a Japanese Anime. Many reviewers state that its a poor attempt at replicating Saiki-K, and whilst yes, the first few episodes do mimic Saiki-K, it does away with that within the later episodes, doing a full turn-around and diving deep within the character. The primary focus of the story itself is the change within the character, how people adapt and learn. If you can't sit through a half of the season being a bit slower paced, with gradual building to a greater story, then this wouldn't be for you. My general ratings are as follow: Audio: 7.4/10 Typical Anime audio, not terrible, not great, it has good times here and ... there, not poorly dubbed either. Visual: 8.7/10 Pretty nice visuals overall, I'm a sucker for visual effects and nice lighting and shading, they do it quite well, however that is to be expected within modern Anime Story: 6.7/10 It varies honestly, many episodes were filler, with purpose of course, while others went nice and in depth. If you really dig into it, there are silly things here and there in the story that make no sense really, but I don't really care. Enjoyment: 7.6/10 This series is good fun, its not supposed to be something you're absolutely hooked on, just something to sit back, relax and laugh at. Starting with what was good about this series. The animation, Haoliners Animation pulled out all the stops on some of the scenes. Most of the anime looks really good. The action is really smooth and the visuals are incredible. It was pretty much the only thing that got me to power through. The story is not interesting in the slightest, it starts by introducing this massively overpowered character and then proceeds to follow him around whilst he holds back his power ... and keeps it a secret from everyone else he meets. None of the characters have any depth and because of this half the series is just the writers jumping back and forward into the overly rushed backstories. The comedy is massively forced, and it feels like almost every character attempts some form of comic relief at some point in the anime. The plot felt pointless, there were some problems that could’ve been solved in a much quicker and easier way that it was painful to watch the characters taking it a really long round-a-bout way to achieve the same outcome and that’s just not enjoyable. The sound and music choices for the anime were okay, nothing really stood out but that’s also nothing to complain about. I suppose in a way that fit with the theme of this series. While I didn’t enjoy the story. I can’t deny the interesting world building of this anime. The fantasy and mythology side of it was what kept me watching, spiritual swords, demons and cultivation powers. That’s the difference that the Chinese anime brings to the table and it was slightly entertaining.
