#1 · May 30, 2017 Hi Guys, I have a yaw sensor fault on my 2005 Touran sport TDI, its been confirmed by two seperate independent garages. I picked up a previously enjoyed warrantied yaw sensor off flea bay from a breaker.......But where the **** is the sensor housed:???:? I plan on swapping it and my friendly garage will reset the fault code for a few beer tokens. thanks in advance if anyone can help. I couldn't tell you the error codes, but 2 seperate independent garages gave me the same diagnosis Yaw sensor fault, so I qassume it must be the sensor, Is the Mk1 touran the same as a MkIV golf then? I thought they were on the later floorpan? I will take a look and see if I can get it sorted. Cheers Darren #4 · Jun 13, 2017 The yaw sensor G202 incorporates the lateral acceleration sensor G200 and ESP sensor G419, it is mounted behind the glovebox. New from VW they are £741.94... Once installed, the G200 sensor section MUST be calibrated in Basic Settings. #5 · Jun 18, 2017 Thanks but... Keith, Thanks for your help, but, I got hold of a workshop manual for a touran, and it's behind the glovebox, hours of looking under the steering column, then i find it and change it in under an hour, behind the glovebox :cool:
