  This year at Otakon there was a Masquerade skit that featured an Edward Elric who was taller than the Roy Mustang in the same skit. They lampshaded it brilliantly, and I saw it as an actual asset to their skit rather than a problem. Anyway, height doesn't matter in pictures unless you have someone standing next to you as comparison. If you're willing to tackle the ridiculousness that is anything Ciel, I'd say go for it.

  I dont think it matters that much. Im like 5'2 so I look too short to cosplay boys, but I do it anyways! And you'd make a great Ciel! Go for it!

  LOL, I am rather in the same boat but I am not really worried about it as I have only managed to cosplay 3 characters that were my height in the past. I am 5'5" and I have perfect boots for my Ciel costume that is in the works but they will add 3" to my height (plus a mini top hat that adds another 4" visually). I figure this will make it harder for my friends to lose me in a crowd, hehe. If you do it, do it well! :D

  i think you'd make a great ciel! if you were like, 6 foot 4, then there might be a problem. i'm 5'10'' and i'm cosplaying claude with my friend as alois... she's 4'10'' though, so it works. but. look around, people of all heights and such cosplay short characters. i say, if this is what you really want, then go for it! i think you have PERFECT height for many characters!

  I'm 5'4", have lost most of the fullness in my face dieting and am doing Ciel this winter. The group's Alois is 5'2". We're going to address this by putting her in heeled boots with hidden inserts which should give her 2 or 3 inches over me and I'm going to hope the page-boy style wig hides the angles developing in my face... If it doesn't -- oh well. Then I make fail!Ciel :3 I'm still going to try. Trying is part of the fun and failing is darned educational ^^

  I think you have a great face for the Ciel look, personally! C: But as everyone else has been saying, if you want to do it then go for it! It's all about having fun, I would personally LOVE to cosplay Ciel simply because of his outfits. I adore the style of clothing he wears, though I feel my face lacks the roundness needed to look as youthful as him.

  You'd make an awesome Ciel! When I cosplayed as Maria(SH2), I was awkwardly short compared to everyone else but my costume was still good. Height doesn't matter as much as it seems, don't worry. :)

  *raises hand* 5'9" Ciel cosplayer here. I often over shadow or meet the height of Sebastain cosplayers, but people love it all the same. Just being able to "be" Ciel is so much fun! It's awesome no matter how tall you are and whatever you look like. And speaking of which, I'd like to point out that your face it perfect for Ciel because even though he is a child, he has a very regal, pristine look to him. The anime makes him more childish looking, but the manga gives him a more distingsted adult look. (I always go by manga as cannon...and I like it better.)

  well the good news is, in the anime/manga, he's only short when next to sebastian. If you notice, to other adults he isn't baby tiny, because sebastian is like....7 ft tall. I'm 5'8'' and cosplay ciel just fine :] and also, I don't think he really has that much of a baby face, so you'll be fine :D

  My cosplay partner is 5'8"-9"-ish, and she wants to cosplay Ciel with myself as Sebastian. Considering I'm at least two inches shorter than her, she adjusted her cosplay to an older version of Ciel, to account for the height difference. : ) It's about how you have fun with your costume.
