Move Faster!

When traveling long distances, it's often slow to bear with Kratos' default run speed. You can actually move faster than this, though it'll take a bit of trickery. Kratos' forwards roll (press the Right Analog Stick forward) is faster than his running speed, but the temporary stun at the end of the roll slows him down too much. However, you can cancel this stun by executing the Hermes Rush shoulder charge (press R1). If you repeat the pattern of forward roll, Hermes Rush, forward roll, Hermes Rush you can move over the land at a faster rate than normal. Keen!

Climb Faster!

When forced to climb up ivy covered walls or large nets, you may find that Kratos' default speed is too slow. If you want to move faster and better dodge enemy attacks, a good tactic is to jump everywhere. By press the jump button (X) in conjunction with a direction on the Left Analog Stick, Kratos will leap in the direction you choose. You can repeatedly jump like this to move across climbing surfaces at a much faster clip than the default climbing speed.
