It draws voltage from the motor batteries and drops it to a voltage level that is suitable for your receiver and servos. This is required in applications which use high power servos, where the ESC does not have an internal BEC, or the existing BEC is inadequate.

From the trusted manufacturer of BECs comes the next generation of voltage regulators. Designed and assembled in the USA1, Castle Creations’ CC BEC 2.0 gives users higher voltage ranges in two unique packages. For pilots there is a smaller, lightweight (0.7 oz.) design capable of 14 amps peak, perfect for sport flying, helicopters, and UAVs. Racers, crawlers, and other splashers can now integrate a 15 amp peak power regulator in a waterproof (WP), CNC machined, aluminum case. Both versions handle up to an impressive 14S without brake enabled or 12S with brake.

The CC BEC 2.0 complements our established line of BECs hobbyists have relied on for years. With hundreds of thousands in the field, users can count on this new design to power today’s high-power, digital servos and accessories safely. The CC BEC 2.0 features heavy duty, dual output wires that will provide clean power to sensitive radio equipment. Castle Link can be used to set the output from 4.75 to 12 volts and power today’s power hungry servos, cameras, and other accessories. Do it right the first time, invest in the CC BEC 2.0 to protect expensive electronics for the long haul.
Note: CC BEC 2.0 should never be operated in series or parallel with another BEC or backup receiver pack connected to the RX/Servo side of the circuit.

CC BEC PRO
The CC BEC Pro is designed to operate at up to 12S LiPo (50.4V) with a 20A* peak servo load. Generally used for 1/5 scale cars or cars utilizing multiple high powered digital servos, lights, winches and other accessories. It is also useful in larger airplanes using 4 or more digital servos. Perfect for 500 size or larger helis.

CC BEC 10amp
The CC BEC is designed to operate at up to 6S LiPo with a 10A* peak servo load. Generally used for cars utilizing high powered digital servos. It is also useful in smaller airplanes using 4 standard non-digital servos or 6 micro servos. Perfect for 450 size or smaller helis. If you need more amperage or voltage capability, our CC BEC Pro is the way to go!

Some micro applications would benefit from a compact and ultra-light external BEC and that is why we are introducing the CC BEC NANO as an addition to our Castle BEC offerings. Fixed output voltage at 8.4v, 2s - 4s LiPo input (16.8v max) and weighing in at .2oz (5.6g).
