Anyone knows if offensive guard is on a cooldown after being activated the first time? Or does it have a different timing than guard point itself? Thing is offensive guard also triggers randomly when i don't guard point and just simply hold up my shield. The author of this topic has marked a post as the answer to their question. If you're holding down block for a while and then doing a guard point, the window to activate offensive guard doesn't reset. Actually the attack doesn't have to hit your shield. Using the lance, I am able to activate OG by guard stepping while the attack never connects with my shield. Not sure if it is like that with CB though. #3 Bum View Profile View Posts 12 May, 2021 @ 5:36pm

No it's not. I played lance and the shield down guard is protecting you from all the direction with lance. With cb only the front part is protecting you and maybe a little bit on the sides. Basicly with cb you gotta get hit a few time if you're new so you know where the hitbox of the attack is. I think it's linked to a button press tbh. I had it activate a few times after i got hit. Maybe it's just broken. At least now i can activate it all the time on purpose when i guard point. I used to hold guard and then guard point when the attack comes, now i got straight into guard point and it activates right away.
