Can you take a picture of the cluster so we can see the code? #4 · Feb 19, 2010 I googeled itbut nothing has come up with that code attatched to our cars.. I made sure my history was clear on my scanner before i ran the codes.. #5 · Feb 19, 2010 It doesn't come up with anything on the gauge cluster.. The gauge cluster says " System Ok" #6 · Feb 19, 2010 I checked and there is no U3FFF in any data base that we use and we use them all. Alldata, Identifix, and the Chrysler website. It seem to be a BS code just clear it out and wait to see what if anything comes back #7 · Feb 19, 2010 Could there be a problem with the scanner? Maybe that code means the scanner has a problem, not the car. If your check engine light came on I would think you would be able to pull a code off of the cluster. #8 · Feb 19, 2010 "System OK" is a message that you get while you are in the EVIC menu. It doesn't sound like you used the "Key Dance" procedure to retrieve the code. With the key in the "ACC" position, turn it from there to "ON" 3 times - ending up in the "ON" position. Your code should show up where your odometer normally reads. If no codes are active then it will display "Done" not "System OK". #18 · Feb 23, 2010 (Edited) Not to thread jack anyone but... Tonight I went for a drive and when I was coming to a stop sign the car had a hard stiff downshift (not driving autostick at the time) and the check engine light came on. It drives ok like there is nothing wrong. I disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes and the light was still on. I tried the "key dance" trick posted by Magmania. My instrument cluster showed - - - - - then done-. It never showed an error code. Anyone got any clues? I may be going to the stealership in the morning and hopefully it will be covered by warranty if there is something wrong. 0 Reply #9 · Feb 19, 2010 Ah ha!! Ok cool. Thanks Magmania! I cleared the code and if it comes back on I will do that.. Thanks magnum05 for checking.. It sounded like a BS code to me too.. Something I have never seen before.. I really appreciate the help guys.. I like for all warning light to be off.. #10 · Feb 19, 2010 What code did you get from the cluster when you did the key dance? #11 · Feb 19, 2010 I haven't been able to go back out there yet.. I'm stuck at my desk at work right now.. I will def post up what code pops up later. #12 · Feb 19, 2010 The scanner could have a problem with the CAN (controller area network) bus. I did some poking around and found that a U3FFF might be due to scanner reading error. I'd find a better / different scanner if the key dance doesn't show anything. #13 · Feb 19, 2010 Yeah that's what I'm kind of thinking.. It's been a while since I have updated my scanner too. So I might see if there's any out there. #14 · Feb 20, 2010 Ok so it didn't take long for the light to come back on.. The code popped as P0520.. #15 · Feb 20, 2010 (Edited) P0520 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Malfunction http://www.custommagnums.com/forums...forums/general-magnum-discussion/28684-how-oil-pressure-switch-replacement.html P0520 Code Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Malfunction - Chrysler 300C Forum: 300C & SRT8 Forums #16 · Feb 20, 2010 Ladon.. Thanks man.. Yeah I just found the code too.. Any idea how much it is from the dealer? #17 · Feb 20, 2010 Nevermind.. i just saw about $56.. Not too bad just frustrating.. #19 · Jul 20, 2014 U3fff Found this same U3FFF code on my 300C but it was under the enhanced DTC codes for transmission. It will not clear no matter how many times I hit the erase. All other codes are cleared. Insert Quotes Post Reply
