Hi as anybody come across error code U3FFF on a 2001 1.2 A2 It makes no difference to the running just E/M light on A

What are you using to see this code, looks gibberish to me? - Andy Edit. Just noticed 1.2! You need RAB. D

Used a Honeywell diagnostic, sorry I don't know what RAB is A

RAB is a member on here who knows a lot about the very rare 1.2. Andy Edit. Did you mean 1.2? Your forum registration details show a 1.4 petrol? D

No worries, back to normal. As I said that code looks gibberish. I can only suggest you check the documentation, I suspect something is not configured correctly. Is this the first time you have used it? Just watched a video of a guy using a Honewell OBD2 scanner and it flagged up normal codes P1031 etc. as you would expect. Andy D

Yes used it many times The E/M light was on for a while showing EGR valve fault. Now it's getting due for an MOT I changed the EGR cleared the code all good for a few days, it came on again MAP sensor, changed the sensor cleared the code all good again. It came on again P0408 EGR sensor b I cleaned connection to EGR all good again now it's on again U3FFF check owners manual. Not mentioned anywhere. Thanks Sean A

Thanks Andy Mine was £150 compared to a garage that's probably cheap and nasty.
