EV Hold Items help increase the Effort Values gained by Pokemon.

If one Pokemon is holding one of these items when Breeding at the Day Care Center, the IVs that are promoted from that item will be passed on to the child. If they are holding the Power Anklet, the holder will pass down its Speed IVs to the child.

Name Location Description
Macho Brace Route 16 Route House Doubles EVs obtained in battle, but halves the speed of the holder.
Power Anklet Battle Subway, PWT, and Route 4 - Black 2 In-Game Trade (Black 2), Adds four Speed EVs to all other EVs gained at the end of a battle, but halves the speed of the holder.
Power Band Battle Subway, PWT, and Route 13 (White 2) Adds four Special Defense EVs to all other EVs gained at the end of a battle, but halves the speed of the holder.
Power Belt Battle Subway PWT, and Team Plasma Frigate (White 2) Adds four Defense EVs to all other EVs gained at the end of a battle, but halves the speed of the holder.
Power Bracer Battle Subway, PWT, and Team Plasma Frigate (Black 2) Adds four Attack EVs to all other EVs gained at the end of a battle, but halves the speed of the holder.
Power Lens Battle Subway, PWT, and Route 13 (Black 2) Adds four Special Attack EVs to all other EVs gained at the end of a battle, but halves the speed of the holder.
Power Weight Battle Subway and PWT, and Route 4 - White 2 In-Game Trade (White 2) Adds four HP EVs to all other EVs gained at the end of a battle, but halves the speed of the holder.
