Komatsu Forge in Ghost of Tsushima is one of the major locations in the game that the main story will take you to. In addition, Komatsu Forge is the home of several important NPCs, such as the monk that you take the banners to. The main quest that takes you to the forge is called Hammer and Forge, and one step will require you to find Yuna and Taka, but won’t tell you where to find them. That’s what we’ll be discussing in our Ghost of Tsushima Komatsu Forge guide.

Komatsu Forge Ghost of Tsushima Yuna & Taka Location

Once you arrive in Ghost of Tsushima Komatsu Forge, the next step of the Hammer and Forge quest is to find Yuna and Taka. The game won’t give you any indication of where to find them, presumably wanting you to take a bit of a stroll around and get to know the place. If you’re in a hurry, however, you might not have the wish to do so. If that is the case, then head straight for the tower-like structure. It’s basically the tallest building in Komatsu Forge, so you can’t miss it.

As you approach the tower-like building (see images above), you’ll hear the sounds of a struggle. Head towards the sounds, and you’ll come across a bunch of Mongols terrorizing the locals. Technically, this concludes the step requiring you to find Yuna and Taka. The next thing you have to do is defeat the Mongols and speak with Yuna. From there, the quest is pretty straightforward, and soon enough, Komatsu Forge will be liberated.

Now, it bears mentioning that, in the southwest of the Forge, you’ll also find a monk that collects Sashimono Banners and gives you new saddles in return.
