Komatsu Forge Yellow Bird - How To Follow & Rewards

Follow Komatsu Forge Bird & Loot Locations

Following the bird will lead you directly at the doorstep of the Komatsu Forge. It stops there to notify you that there's good loot to be had in the place.

Enter The Crawlspace

Just right beside the entrance is an open space that you can use to enter the underside of the Forge. Crawl there to get Linens, Leather, and Supplies.

Get To The Roof Of The Forge

From where the Golden Bird landed, head right and around the forge. There you will find a shelf that you can climb on to get to the roof of the Forge. Once you reach the roof, you can go to the other side to get some materials on a platform.

Locating The Forgemaster's Headband

From the roof, use the beam to drop down to another beam inside the Forge. Face north and traverse the beam to get the Forgemaster's Headband.

The Forgemaster's Headband can be acquired by following the Golden Bird and looting the upper parts of the Komatsu Forge. This headgear does not give you any stat bonuses and is for purely changing Jin's appearance.

Komatsu Forge is located east of the Golden Temple in the first area of the game, Izuhara. It is an unmissable area as the story will force you to go to this place.

Although you can visit Komatsu Forge anytime, you will be tasked to go there with the story mission "The Hammer and the Forge". It is recommended to finish the story mission first as the location itself begins as a hostile territory.
