In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, these are called Requests, and these tasks can range from filling out the Pokedex on a specific Pokemon, to gathering enough items of a particular type. Take, for example, Hearty Grains. This plant is needed to complete two different Requests. Of course, you need to find enough of it first. Where to Find Hearty Grains in Pokemon Legends Arceus

During the course of the game, you will get a new Request from Choy. He will ask you if you would like it if he had more items in the store. If you agree, Choy will explain that you need to convince Tao Hua to let him have a greater wares selection. Choy suggests that you can do this by bringing Tao Hua some Hearty Grains. This will start the “Getting Ahold of New Wares” Request. You can find several Hearty Grains in the Crimson Mirelands. More specifically, we found a Hearty Grain in the Golden Lowlands there. And another in a haystack in the Sludge Mound. To search a haystack, simply toss any Pokemon at it. We’ve marked both of these locations on the screenshots down below.

When you have found enough Hearty Grains, it’s time to bring these to Tao Hua. He is in the basement of Galaxy Hall. Go there and give the Hearty Grains to him. He will agree to let Choy have new wares. All that’s left now is to go back to Choy to let him know that you have successfully managed to convince Tao Hua. Choy will thank you and present you with new items you can now purchase from him.
