Pokemon Legends: Arceus - Where To Get Hearty Grains - Game Rant

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players will have to complete a variety of side quests. One of these requests, number 23, requires players to go out into the somewhat open world of Arceus and find something called a Hearty Grain.

Request 23 can be found by chatting with Choy, a store-owning NPC in Jubilife Village. Choy requests that the player convince Tao Hua to sell more unique items to his store so that he can offer a bigger variety of products. He tells the player to bring Tao some Hearty Grains, as it may help to convince him to help out. Players will have to go out into the world and collect this grain themselves before finding Tau Hua.

Where to Find Hearty Grain in Arceus

Hearty grains are found mostly in the Golden Plains and Crimson Mirelands area. Players can pick these plants up out of the ground while out collecting all the Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus; they look a little like very short wheat stalks. These yellowy plants do blend in with the surroundings, so players will have to keep their eyes open in order to grab what they need. Thankfully, players only need three stalks of Hearty Grains to finish Request 23 and convince Tao Hua to offer better products to Choy.

If players have trouble finding these little yellow plants in the very yellow lands of the Golden Plains and Crimson Mirelands, they can look for hay mounds with a green plant on top. These mounds usually contain a Heart Grain as well as Medicinal Leeks and Caster Ferns. Players can use their Pokemon to break open the hay mound just like they would break open crystals and rocks with their Pokemon in Arceus.

Finishing up Request 23

In order to finish Request 23 in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players just have to bring three Heart Grains back to town. Once in Jubilife Village again, look across the street from Choy's store. There will be a large building; head inside and go left to head down the stairs to the basement level. Tao Hua will be through the open door to the right of the bottom of these stairs. Talk to him, and offer him the Hearty Grains in exchange for giving Choy a bigger variety of items, and he will be happy to comply.

After this, new items will be available in the General Store; head back outside to talk to Choy to complete Request 23 and buy the new items.
