Pokémon Legends: Arecus - Where To Farm Hearty Grains

During Request 23, "Get Ahold of New Wares," Pokémon Legends: Arecus players must gather 3 Hearty Grains for Choy and increase the General Store's offerings in Jubilife Village. To start the quest, players must head over to the shop's location next to the hairdresser, west of the Front Gate. Speak to Choy, and he will begin the conversation by asking if the Pokémon Legends: Arecus Trainer would like more retail wares available at the store. Make sure to choose the dialogue option "It'd be nice" for the quest to activate.

Once the Request is active, players can begin their search for the required quest items. There are two ways to farm Hearty Grains in Pokémon Legends: Arecus. The first and most reliable method is looking around the Golden Lowlands within the Crimson Mirelands. Although it may seem challenging from a glance to find Hearty Grains in Pokémon Legends: Arceus among the dense yellow fields of grains, the plant will conveniently spawn in easy-to-spot locations about the area. Players can recognize Hearty Grains by its prominent two wheat-like stalks sticking up from a single stem on the ground.

Another way to farm Hearty Grains in Pokémon Legends: Arecus is by searching for large hay-like piles sitting out in the wild. Similar to breaking rocks in Pokémon Legends: Arecus, players can throw their Pokémon at the stack to harvest its resources. These nodes can be found in the Crimson Mirelands and provide players with materials such as Caster Fern, Medicinal Leek, and Hearty Grains.

Hearty Grains Request Guide in Pokémon Legends: Arecus

After collecting 3 Hearty Grains, return to Legends: Arceus' Jubilife Village to deliver the quest items to Tao Hua. Keep in mind that Tao Hua is the NPC whom players will need to find, not the Request giver, Choy. Tao Hua is located within the Galaxy Hall, the largest building in the top center of town. Enter inside and go right down the hallway towards the staircase going to the Basement. Inside the middle room, players will find Tao Hua.

At first, Tao Hua appears to be rather grumpy and angry with the player in Pokémon Legends: Arecus. However, after showing him the Hearty Grains, he will quickly change his attitude, giving Choy permission to sell more wares at the store. Return to Choy to finish Request 23, "Get Ahold of New Wares," in Pokémon Legends: Arecus. Players can now purchase new items such as Smoke Bombs or Mushroom Cake and Honey Cakes, foods that can be used to attract certain Pokémon.
