In Jump Force, blocking enemy attacks is good, but countering them is even better.

When your opponent is on the offesnive in Jump Force, you have three options: block, try to perform a high-speed dodge, or attempt a high-speed counter. Of the three, the high-speed counter offers the best advantage.

Pulling off a high-speed counter is essentially just like performing a high-speed dodge. When an opponent’s attack is just about to hit you, you need to press the standard attack button. That’s the Square button on PS4, and the X button on Xbox One. Perform a high-speed counter successfully, and your character will briefly vanish then reappear behind your opponent and hit them.

Like a follow up attack performed after a high-speed dodge, your opponent can perform a high-speed dodge or a high-speed counter in retaliation to your high-speed counter, but they have to be good. And if they are successful, you can counter them again, too.

Once you’ve mastered pulling off high-speed counters in Jump Force, you will surely be a force to be reckoned with.
