   hello guys good day, i just want to ask what is the best or good plugin to prevent hackers from griefing? how to prevent those RTGA team from hacking your servers?

   There is no full proof way of preventing hackers. Do the best to secure your server with plugins, firewalls etc

   If you're hosting from home, make sure you have a good VPN and DDOS protection. As people can breach your computer and access personal information without those. Server-wise you can download plugins like Phoenix Anti-Cheat Spartan Avanced Anti Cheat ...and others to prevent most client hacks. In the case that you are griefed: Use a rollback plugin like CoreProtect I'd also advise you do weekly backups of your server in the case there's irreversible damage dealt to your server.

   There are many free alternatives. NoCheatPlus can be easily bypassed with new clients unfortunately. NCP would be my last choice if I had to choose a free anticheat.

   ok thank you guys i will try your advice i was just making a server just for fun and temporary server before i will rent a dedicated server. but my server was attack by RTGA team they use worldguard edit to destroy all my maps , and ban my main account. i use Nocheatplus and compatnocheatplus but havnt configure it yet to better configuration because i was just trying to learn some plugins specially anti cheat plugins. any advice what to change on nocheatplus config to prevent what happened to my server? thanks in advance

   NoCheatPlus is not capable of blocking an actual attack. Make sure your server is secure and don't give anyone you don't really really trust op.

   i didnt give anyone to access OP they just hack and destroy all the maps that i made. then they put a sign on my server RTGA team.

    You are probably running a plugin with a backdoor in it. And also go through your permissions file and search for anyone having the * permission

    that video show same command he used in my server when i checked the log . to destroy my map. any advice how to prevent this to happen again would be nice. if you can teach me , i dont want to rent dedi server because i just want a small server only 2 of us are owner my sister and I.

    Could you tell me what server version you are running along with which permissions plugin your using I've personally never seen anything like this. For now i suggest ipbanning this person and his ign

    I am using luckperms for permission , nocheatplus and compatnocheatplus, using mysql for authme , and luckperms . using spigot 1.12.2.

    Ummmm. No. A VPN is a private tunnel. It just leads back to you anyway. DDoS protection stops denial of service. Neither of these have anything to do with protecting your own network.

    Do you have any idea what you're even talking about? I'm dying to hear how you plan on adding DDoS protection to a personal home network without having a private datacenter and a 200gbit connection in your basement. Could you also explain to me how hosting from home suddonly makes breaching a computer way easier?

    You should be able to run them both-- but there may be some conflicts. I'd advise you use only 1.

    I offer an optimized configuration for ncp in my signature that has been built upon since 2015 with countless hours of testing along with a patchwork plugin I included to resolve most issues with ncp itself in terms of bypasses. In relation to your situation, I would check to make sure that your server is set up properly, I.e ip tables, firewall, etc as well as making sure that you have no plugins with a backdoor.

    There is no PERFECT way of catching hackers. But I do suggest Advanced Anti Cheat (AAC). It does help catch hackers a lot.
