Joined Feb 28, 2017 Messages 13 Reaction score -5 MAKE A CLIENT REQUIRED FOR PLAYERS TO USE TO STOP HACKERS. I know this is very extreme but I’ve come to the point where I hate hackers ruining my game play on Hypixel. This could be through ruining bedwars win streaks, sky block and even duels. I think it was a great addition to add the player review however I have another solution: If hypixel developed a client similar to lunar client and Badlion which ensured players couldn’t hack but still had the FPS boosts, mods and cosmetics, then hacking could come to a end. I’m not sure if it’s possible to restrict player into using one client to joint the server. I also imagine this would cause hypixel to loose a few players. but at the moment I can’t enjoy playing on the server due to selfish people joining games and taking the competitiveness away. Anyway, thanks for reading and perhaps considering this wild idea. One name suggestion would be Hyclient for the client if it ever gets made. Comment what you think! Upvote -15 Downvote

My reasoning is because there can be away around the client; ergo, there are some skilled coders in this community (props to them) & they could take the client coding, import blacklisted modifications into it & most likely bypass the Watchdog system. Additionally, I don't think the Hypixel staff would create a client ONLY for the Hypixel Network, as it could technically be useless + you would have to switch from client to client, (as the Hypixel Client would most likely be opped to one version at the time of it's release w/ beta/alpha testers). Plus, hackers wouldn't stop coming to Hypixel. Some are skilled enough to find an opening in the Hypixel system & sneak past Watchdog; concluding that they've gotten into the server.

i mean.....they kind of can. its as easy as making the server have 1 mod. then you have to have that mod to enter the server. make it so the client has a bunch of mods and well....there we go auto restriction that to join you have to have a client with all those mods. it would be considered bad form yes, but its still possible?

Killing the server while making a client that will end up being bypassed easily. Yeah not a good idea.

I’ve legit come across two mvp++ hackers in Bedwars that claimed to be leaderboarders, who both had reach and one was even scaffolding. It’s crazy man. Edit: I just realized the most important part, these guys were on LUNAR CLIENT. I’d usually blame the reach on lag because my ping is terrible, but there were so many other red flags that I couldn’t ignore. It’s insane.

3 things 1. Lots of people like myself who use Lunar, Badlion, Optifine, Forge, and more would not be happy 2. I don´t know if you have heard but they are adding some weird type of thing with capes and migration for competitive games 3. Them making that would make it harder for the staff team as we get updated in different game modes everyone month or 2 and don´t forget hytale so it would take a while to make overall. B
