No this is not a root beer float( some people call the root beer float a black cow -not.) My grandmother used to make these for me when I would visit her in the summertime on vacation! This recipe is from 1949.

• 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
• 1 cup coca-cola
• 1 tablespoon cream
• 1 scoop chocolate ice cream

How To Make orginal black cow

• Step 1 Place syrup in a tall glass. Add coca-cola and cream; stir; add ice cream and serve with a straw.
• Step 2 Lavern & Shirley Drink Pour equal amounts of pepsi and milk in a tall glass- stir and drink.
