Or is that just a pregnancy no no...8 CommentsNewest FirstOldest Firstsswagg101Hey I go to a chiropractor like once a week. They have a special bed thing that slides down for pregnant bellies and they crack my back like in 5 different spots and my neck and I feel great after.bbabygirlmelyI lay or lean into my husband. If laying I stick my butt up on my knees, keep belly away from him press my chest on him and he bear hugs me thus cracking my back. it works every time.bbrwngrl78@babygirlmely,I do the same as PP. DH cracks my back for me. It's awesome!!! :)22xited@aray22,While sitting up on bed put your legs out in front of you and arms propping you up. Take one leg and cross it over the other while keeping your legs as straight as possible. Then twist slowly at the waist, to the left and to the right. While twisting, bring the left arm in front of you and over to your right side as you twist right, and bring your right arm over in front of you and to your left side as you twist to the left. This does GREAT on lower back pain.tthebakersincbus@aray22,Sit in a regular chair with a semi-low back (we have ones in my office that work great). Raise your elbows up and hold onto the top of the chair back, and bend your back over it, pressing back with your arms so that your back cracks against the top of the chair.tthebakersincbus@aray22,Or... Hold on to the arms of the chair (as long as its not a rolls chair) and pull yourself up so that all your weight is on your arms and your back and butt are sort of hanging there. It should release all of the compression.bbjeanw85@aray22,I put this same post on a chiropractor feed, figures it fits for both. I was having back problems last week. I found laying on the floor on my back for about 5 to 10 mins worked great. I alternated between stretching my legs straight and bending them depending on my comfort level. I know you aren't supposed to lay on your back but I figured whatever works right. Also even before pregnancy I had a really pronounced curvature in my lower back, so now with my growing belly the curvature is getting bigger, so I've gotta start doing stretches now before it gets really bad.tthebakersincbus@bjeanw85,I am reading this while laying flat on the floor with my feet up on an exercise ball! Lol. Works really good to stretch. We're allowed to be on our backs just not overnight bc of blood flow. :)
