Kahlan23 Posted 05-15-13I know the pain about massages and baths only giving relief for a few hours. I don't do this often, only when I can't absolutely stand it anymore, but I sit on my bed with both legs out before me, then I raise one slightly, and twist slightly to the side. I get maybe one or two cracks, but it is a good relief, and not too stressful on the body like a full on twist. Definitely looking into a Chriopractor for more long term relief now.
- rrlvj7302 Posted 05-15-13I lay on my side and reach my top leg over and reach it out to my side as far as I can, but you have to do it slow, like your rolling. Works everytime for me. I loooove cracking my back and neck and was so sad when I started to get huge that I couldn't do it the other ways :(Advertisement | page continues below
gibr0602 Posted 05-15-13I go on all fours and my husband pushes on my back...it doesn't always crack but it for sure relieves tightness and pain.- bblueskunk33 Posted 05-15-13All this cracking talk..... I want mine done.

Ladies, please dont advise a preggo woman to do ANY type of manual self back cracking or have a layman do it (ie. husband or friend!) You can REALLY hurt yourself trying to do this! Go to a professional Chiropractor that has experience with pregnant ladies!!!!!!!! Seriously it is an AWFUL idea to twist side to side or pull in the manner! You could easily rip ligaments or cause a hernia!!! DON'T DO THIS WHILE YOU ARE PREGNANT!!!! go to a professional please! It is well worth the money to have it done completely and safely!!!!!

A professional that knows what they are doing will put you in a side lying position and do manual traction on your hips that will realin your lower back. They can also sit you up in a chair and adjust your neck.
- jjessicahill001x Posted 05-15-13I agree JW, I feel like I'm ripping my uterus and everything inside apart if I even try to pop mine, idk how you ladies are doing it lol. &i won't go to chiropractor because i don't wanna have to go forever and I've heard its worse once ya go there ya gotta keep going or pain is worse than before you went in the first place!
CherryDiamonds Posted 05-15-13My advice.Don't.I've been told for years that you aren't suppose to crack your back when pregnant.
I'm an avid back cracker and haven't done it for about 7 months now. :/that'll probably be the first things I do.
i miss it.
cls621 Posted 05-15-13My doc said if I crack it myself, great, but otherwise, only go to a pro, not a spouse... :)
I sit on my knees in front of the couch, back to the couch,a nd lean back over the seat of the couch. It cracks about half the time.
