Where Is Stella Kidd On Chicago Fire?

Stella Kidd has been missing from a couple of episodes of Chicago Fire. Where is the character, and when is she coming back to Firehouse 51?

There has already been one big change in the Chicago Fire lineup. It’s understandable if you’re worried about another big change. Stella Kidd has been MIA for a few episodes now, and it’s led to a lot of fans concerned about another character exit.

Is Miranda Rae Mayo leaving the series? Will we get to see Stella Kidd again? What is going on with the story?

Where is Stella Kidd on Chicago Fire?

Severide explained Kidd’s status a couple of episodes ago. Kidd is in Boston at the moment, working on another Girls on Fire chapter.

Girls on Fire has been a big storyline for Kidd over the last few seasons. She’s focused on bringing more women into the career, showing that women can do the job just as well as men. It’s important for young girls to see female firefighters and get a sense of what the job is like.

The Chicago chapter has been a huge success. Kidd even got a chance to show her leadership abilities, which led to Boden putting her forward for the lieutenant’s exam. Now she has a chance to grow Girls on Fire.

When will Kidd be back?

It’s not clear how long Kidd is going to be gone from Firehouse 51. Severide wasn’t very clear on the timeframe, and things could always happen that lead to Kidd remaining in Boston for a little while longer.

We do know that she’s coming back. There has been nothing about Mayo leaving the series. Of course, we had nothing about Jesse Spencer leaving the show, but announcing that would have been a huge spoiler. The show probably wouldn’t do it with two main characters in the same season.

When Kidd returns, we’re sure to see some changes happen. Casey’s exit from Firehouse 51 opens a place for a lieutenant on Engine 81. This could open the door for Kidd’s promotion within the firehouse instead of moving to another one.

Hopefully, it won’t be too long before Mayo is back on our screens.
