OK so I'm thinking of selling /trade my E60 530d 2006 m sport pack with 159000km for an x5 or x3 preferably 3.0d. ive got a lot of offers but generally it's an two to three years older model with way more kms on.. generally in the 220000km bracket. after doing a lot off reading I'm getting the feeling that I'm going to end up with a vehicle that tends to give way more problems than the 530d. please give you're input on this.... would you guys trade.. are the e53 really so problematic as Internet want's you to believe? obviously the e60 also have there own problems so please mention that as well

OK I didn't want to sell but I have a cash offer of a R100000 in my BMW... Retail is about R109000 but obviously you won't get that except for deep scratch marks on its front bumper this vehicle is still in a excellent condition... mechanical 110% personally I think this is a good offer... wats you're guys opinion

You'd have to cut my balls off before I took any X car over a 5 series. Not only is the 5 better looking but surely a substantially better car to drive too? N

I have to agree with you... I haven't ever driven an x but it's must be close to perfection to beat a 5raise: won't be buying an x just yet
