The 1st issue was on 01/25/20 when the front aeb malfunction light came on while driving. I immediately scheduled to get the vehicle into have it looked at. They found codes C1A16-97 & B2724-23 and it was determined that the vehicle had a faulty sonar control unit, which had to be ordered and was eventually replaced on 03/04/20. The aeb system worked for about an hour, then it stopped working again! I called the service advisor and made him aware of the issue. I took it up and took a road test with the service manager, and showed him exactly how close i get to a vehicle directly in front of me, and not hitting the brake, and the system did not give any visual or audible warning. I dropped the vehicle off on 3/10/20 and they check it out. I was told, they could not duplicate the concern, and the system is working as designed. I picked up the vehicle, the system still was not working. After about 2 weeks, in which the system did not work, out of the clear blue, driving to work in moderate traffic one morning, the aeb system began working as it did when new, and worked until around 7pm on 10/27/20, when as i was traveling at 40 mph on a highway, and no vehicles ahead of me in my lane, or along side of me, the traffic light was green, and as i started to go through the intersection, the aeb system activated, stopping my vehicle fairly quickly, then released, and i was able to proceed. I immediately, looked in my rear-view mirror, and luckily, the vehicle directly behind me, was a distance away, or i possibly could have been rear ended. Total b.S Nissan is allowed to drag their feet on this long ongoing issue! I took it back to the dealer on 10/30/20 to have then check the issue, and again, told tech drove vehicle, and could not duplicate the concern. I just couldn't believe, even after this issue, it was the same response, unable to duplicate concern. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING,

Bought 2019 Nissan Sentra for our daughter. As she was driving on the 405 n and had to brake on the freeway during high traffic time, the warning malfunction light comes on and 3 instrument cluster light comes on: aeb, front collision, and warning light. Took it to Nissan, they diagnose 2 codes that comes up in the tsb, dtc C1A16 (radar blocked) and dtc C1A12 (laser beam off-center) stating that it is a safety issue but i still had to pay diagnosis and the part and labor to fix it.FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING UNKNOWN OR OTHER FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SERVICE BRAKES

First incident happened 8/11/20; tried to start car at home 4 times while depressing break. Aaa was called for a possible battery issue. The battery was charged but the break would not depress. Aaa was able to get the car started. The next incident happened 8/15/20; while driving on a city street at night 1/4 mile from home, the car started to hesitate like it was braking and the abs malfunction light lit up on the dashboard. Was able to make it home but dashboard lights were still illuminated. No cars in the vicinity when this happened. On 8/17/20, the dealership (Nissan of norwich, ct) picked the car up and reset the computer. Dealership noted it was a forward collision malfunction warning. Dealership stored code C1A16-97. Dealership noted to keep the grill sensor clean of debris and bugs.SERVICE BRAKES, UNKNOWN OR OTHER FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SERVICE BRAKES FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS SERVICE BRAKES

The automatic emergency braking system is engaging when there is not even other cars in front of my moving vehicle. I have taken the vehicle in twice for the same issue in less than 30 days. The first time it was taken in on 5/23/19. They said that a code C1A16-54 popped up stating the radar sensor needed to be realigned. Asked whether the vehicle was now safe to drive. Service personal said that it should be okay. I asked what would happen if it happened again. Told me to bring vehicle back and and that they would probably replace the sensor since they were having some issues with some of the sensors. Driving home on 6/19/19 the aeb system engaged again with no traffic near me. Took the vehicle in again on 6/21/19. After driving the car and checking for any codes, the service person stated that there was nothing wrong with the aeb and it was working properly. The car is a safety issue. I'm not comfortable driving the car as i never know when it will engage again and if anyone is following me that might not be able to stop in time.ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL,

Purchased the vehicle in oct 2018. In feb 2019 for no reason the car breaked hard while driving at 65 mph. Alarm went off and light flashed in the dash. Nothing in front of me or beside me. Took it in to the dealership and was told the icc/radar system was not working correctly. Codes C1A16-97 and C1A18-54 were in the icc module. Was told the issue was fixed. Then the other day it happened again. I was driving at about 60 mph and it just breaked. Nothing in front of me or beside me. I have asked Nissan to return the car because i do not feel safe driving it. They refuse saying they can fix it. Guess they will fix it like they did last time.FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE,

Vehicle is experiencing a random and repetitive engagement of the aeb system with no apparent reason for activation. In some instances, it is merely a warning and others a full hard braking. The problem first occurred during initial day of ownership on march 13, 2018. Dealer stated that Nissan was aware of some issues and was working on a solution. Problem continued to reoccur and a software update (ntb 18-041a) was completed on march 1, 2019. The update did not solve the problem. On august 20, 2019 vehicle was again brought in and documented that the system had failed showing 'radar stain code C1A16'. A forward emergency braking sensor was to be ordered as soon as the Nissan computer network was restored to service. Dealer contacted me when part came in and an installation appointment was set for august 27. When i arrived for the install, service advisor informed me that a 'service bulletin' had come on that morning relating to the aeb issue and refused to install the malfunctioning part. The reason given was that the field service action (p9327 Rogue aeb ntb19-064) required a current stain code and none had occurred since the diagnosis a week earlier. A complaint was made to Nissan (case # 36911652) on the afternoon of august 27. I received a call from Nissan the following day stating that they would not replace the part unless another failure occurs. In an effort to understand their response i asked them one simple question: 'if i understand you correctly, i have to experience another instance that could result in an accident or injury before the sensor can be installed?' Nissan's response was simply yes. SERVICE BRAKES,

Automatic emergency breaking turns off constantly. When a truck towing a trailer passed me a light came on and a message flashed on the dash. It said that the radar was unavailable because of an obstruction. It happened again at an intersection. It seems to go off several times a day when it senses cars beside me, at intersections, turning... I made an appointment with Nissan service at jeff wyler kong?S Nissan in mason ohio. They found dtc # C1A16 radar stain and C1B55-97 radar blockage. They reprogrammed the radar unit. It still didn?T work. They said the part needs to be replaced to the tune of $1637.86. We bought this car specifically for the aeb. We researched it?S reliability through consumer reports. I checked and there were no recalls. There were no accidents on the vehicle?S history report. I?D run a small general obd reader that did not show the code before buying. We are pretty mad to have extended ourselves to pay more for something that doesn?T work. I?Ve called 1800Nissan1 so we?Ll see if they fix it. So far they?Ve only told me it?S not covered, despite how many Nissan models and years are all having the same issue. We couldn?T see it bc they haven?T recalled it. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, UNKNOWN OR OTHER SERVICE BRAKES

2017 INFINITI Q50 with 4710.0 miles

I purchased my 2017 Infiniti Q50 as a certified dealer owned vehicle with 4710 miles on it from airport Infiniti on 12/31/2018. Since taking possession of the car, i have had three separate instances where my car lost power during acceleration, in which one of the instances nearly caused me to be hit by a semi-truck when crossing a divided highway. I have provided videos to the manufacture but they have refused to take action because the vehicle does not set any dtc codes. When this condition happens my 3.0t Q50 accelerates extremely slow even with 100% throttle. The net result is that when i intend to cross a divided highway, i experience a 1-1.5 second delay from the time i push down the accelerator to when the car begins to move, then the acceleration from 0-15mph can take upwards of 5-6 seconds. The resulting feeling is a car that rolls into a dangerous intersection and exhibits stall like conditions. Only once did the car set dtc codes during this instance. The codes set were B130D, C1A16 and po340. These codes set the first instance, but have not set during the past two occurrences of the same acceleration issue. These instances are completely random which make them extremely dangerous. For instance, the car will be driving completely normal, i will stop and an intersection and then when i go to turn out into the intersection, i go into this stall condition without warning. The dealership has had the car 4 separate times and each time they have refused to fix anything on the car, despite having a video of the occurrence and confirming that the acceleration was entirely abnormal. I have no choice but to drive this car if Infiniti refuses to fix it, but feel it is likely that it will cause injury or death to me and my family if i drive it. I have attached a summary of the daily log i have been keeping since i purchases the car on 12/31/2018.VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, SERVICE BRAKES

This vehicle was purchased new from the dealership, Nissan of vacaville, on 9-16-2017. On 10-26-2017 while traveling at approximately 35 mph the vehicle's forward emergency braking system (feb) suddenly and unexpectedly activated, bring the car to a full and complete stop in the middle of the road. The braking system disengaged within a few seconds and i was able to pull to the side of the road. There were no adverse conditions, obstructions, or vehicles within a dangerous distance to have caused the activation. The dashboard warning lights displayed the alert message "warning" "malfunction." the vehicle was subsequently towed to autocom Nissan of concord for service and diagnosis. I was told codes U1002, C1B5D, and C1A16-97 were stored in the computer system. C1a16-97 relates to an obstruction or blocked radar sensor, but that all the stored codes were in the past. C1a16-97 was stored at 1983 miles - i experienced no activation of the system at that time. According to the dealership there were no stored codes related to today's incident. Nissan tech line made a remote diagnosis and concluded a loose license plate frame likely had caused and obstruction, activating the system. This is in conflict with the owners manual's explanation of feb shut down in the event of an obstruction. On 12-19-2017 i returned the vehicle to the dealership where i purchased the car. After four days of diagnostic and road testing i was told that, according to Nissan tech line, since the dealership was unable to duplicate the malfunction during the test drive, then the car is considered operational and safe and could be returned to the customer. And although finding multiple past codes stored ecm-ul00l, asb-ul002, bcm ul000-00, ul000-01, clb40-49, clb30-49, ul000-00, icc /adas-C1B53-04, clb54-00, ul000-01 all indication malfunction.
