I. Dùng pressure như danh từ

2.1. Mang nghĩa "gây áp lực / sức ép, bắt ai phải làm theo ý mình"

=attempts to persuade, threaten, or force someone to do something

• Với nghĩa này, pressure vừa là danh từ đếm được, vừa không đếm được
• pressure for
• pressure on someone (to do something)
• be​/​come under pressure to do something
• under pressure from someone
• put​/​exert pressure on someone (to do something)
• bring pressure to bear on someone (to do something)
• give in to pressure​/​bow to pressure (=do what someone is trying to force you to do)

2. Mang nghĩa "tình trạng căng thẳng, cảm thấy áp lực đè nặng, sự thúc bách; cảnh quẩn bách"

=a worried feeling that you get when you have to deal with a difficult or complicated situation / a problem or situation that causes you to have this worried feeling
