I. guarantee dùng như noun (danh từ)

1. Mang nghĩa (pháp lý) sự bảo đảm, sự cam đoan; sự bảo lãnh, sự bảo hành

(a promise that something will be done or will happen, especially a written promise by a company to repair or change a product that develops a fault within a particular period of time)

IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:

• a computer under guarantee (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: máy điện toán còn trong thời hạn bảo hành)
• he bought a modern stabilizer with two years' guarantee (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: anh ta mua một thiết bị ổn áp hiện đại có thời hạn bảo hành hai năm)

2. Mang nghĩa sự bảo đảm; sự dám chắc
