CLS W219 grille star emblem removal

Joined Mar 22, 2015 Messages 596 Car C219 CLS 500, W447 Vito 119 CDI Does anyone know how to remove the star emblem, I've found conflicting answers on the 'net, I've tried twisting it counter clockwise but no joy. Is it a case of prying it off gently? I can see what looks like clips from behind but I'd need 5 hands & 5 screwdrivers to unlatch them all at once lol.

Joined Mar 22, 2015 Messages 596 Car C219 CLS 500, W447 Vito 119 CDI Managed to get it off, it doesn't rotate btw, that's on other models. There are 5 clips at the rear & I managed to jam 5 plastic knives into the clips then gently prised it off. You must log in or register to reply here.
