JamesAC123 Anyone know how to take out the front grill badge? #1 · Mar 27, 2019 Anyone know how to take out the front grill badge? Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Mar 27, 2019 The long bar? Or just the centre star that has the radar kit behind it? #3 · Mar 27, 2019 The centre star, Im wanting to unclip the slats from behind and paint it gloss black like the night pack Show more replies 0 Reply #4 · Mar 27, 2019 Ah, ok. A friend of mine that owns a workshop did mine. Apparently, it’s not an easy job. Bumble needs to come off, along with various clips and screws that hold it on. You doing all the work yourself? #5 · Mar 27, 2019 Not hard mate at all, think yogi bear confused. It’s rather scary how easily it is... just press the star firmly back and twist to the left or right. And that’s it... #8 · Mar 30, 2019 Im having trouble it doesnt seem to come off. Do you really have to push when you're turning? dont want to break it. Show more replies 0 Reply #6 · Mar 27, 2019 Yeah, thought I had. You just meant the black circle in the middle, I thought it was the bar and the centre. #9 · Mar 30, 2019 You do know that they have a cover for the star in glass black. I know it may be a bit more expensive but would be easier and you could take it off if you change your mind. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes...ts=Car+Make:Mercedes-Benz&hash=item21542306e4:g:u~sAAOSwAClcceDS&frcectupt=true I once had a car that I sprayed parts and it ended up voiding the warranty for the paintwork, with them saying that I had work done. I know it is just the badge and logic says that it wont affect anywhere else, but logic does not come down to it when they can get away with not paying for something. #10 · Mar 30, 2019 In my opnion I find it strange that someone should purchase a premium £25k+ vehicle (maybe even leasing it) and then they pimp it up by carrying out what is clearly DIY customization work that most of the time can look amateurish to say the least. It's something I might have done to a vehicle that was several years old when I was 18. I'm all for having oem parts fitted that really do enhance the vehicles appearance when fitted professionally anything else kinda makes the vehicle look like bling. Again just my opnion though. Keep it original. Show more replies 0 Reply Insert Quotes Post Reply
