Slightly confused.com at which coolant to use.  Anyone know the correct fluid to use? Looking at the fluid in the reservoir the colour seems pinkish.Aragorn11K50VeteranAragorn11K50

They're progressive supercessions. G12++ is the current coolant you'd buy from a Audi/VW dealer, and can be happily mixed with G12 or G12+ They're all compatible with each other, the only slight caveat is that the original G12 cant be mixed with G11, whereas G12+> can.KiwiRS45471knowledgeableKiwiRS45471

Just about to ask the same question. Replaced the coolant sensor, so need to top up coolant. I couldn't be bothered driving 30 mile round trip to dealer, so bought from halfords 1 mile away. They gave me comma xstream G40 which they said was the correct one. Comma website says correct one for s4 is G30. G40 = vw G12++, i take it from some of the above answers that this is perfectly ok to top up with?
