Stonedofmoo Hi chaps vcds shows the following
Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 1C0-907-37x-ESP-A.lbl Part No: 1C0 907 379 F Component: ESP ALLRAD MK60 0104 Coding: 0023046 Shop #: WSC 31414 000 00000 VCID: 2D5779F6B766547600B-5000 1 Fault Found: 01279 - Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (G251) 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent Click to expand...
So I followed this excellent guide linked on this site to reset it: http://www.ttforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=153716 The only problem is on mine, it fails at the final hurdle which is the point you log in, and press the button to reset it. Mine comes up with adjustment isn't possible, and I cannot find any information on why This is what mine looks like. Rectangle Font Screenshot Parallel Circle Hitting the ON/OFF/NEXT button does nothing to alleviate the incorrect reading from the sensor. It's the same on the G200 sensor which isn't showing any problems. Any ideas why mine is acting differently? #1 · Jun 7, 2015 Hi chaps vcds shows the following

I guess "intermittent" can mean just that. On my car I had a physical warning - the car tried to pull sharply to the left whilst driving in a straight line at 60mph-odd. After a VCDS scan showed the same fault as yours, I replaced the sensor, then performed the reset you've described without any problems. All was well afterwards - no ditch-hunting. HTH. #3 · Jun 8, 2015 Yeah ok that makes sense, perhaps I was looking for a complicated explanation when it's really the most simple answer. I remember someone on a well known auction site was offering a repair service, I'll get it repaired and try again. Cheers #4 · Oct 12, 2015 One repaired sensor later, all working correctly again. Turns out the 4WD works better than I had given it credit for when the sensor is working correctly :) Insert Quotes Post Reply
